My story is your story and while the events, circumstances, and characters differ, the archetypal journey in search of meaning and wholeness is universal and shared by all humans. Our task is to take the courageous first step onto the path with the right guide to accompany us across the terrain.
The first part of my life’s journey was focused on things outside of myself, things that I believed would bring me joy. I achieved a personal-best level of success in all its forms but still felt something was missing. Eventually, I hit a wall, worn down by my own patterns, ways of being, doing and thinking that were not no longer serving me.
I set out on a quest in search of meaning beyond the mundane. I surrendered the rational, over-thinking, over-doing for creativity, instinct, and inspiration. I stepped away from the daily grind and became a student again. I devoured the works and teachings of Caroline Myss, Marion Woodman, Carl Jung, James Hillman, Stephen Aizenstat and other scholars from the field of depth psychology. I studied ancient Shamanic wisdom and our connection to nature. I descended into the underworld to explore my shadow, eventually returning with my pockets filled with gold. The experience was an alchemy of the body, mind, and heart. I had a new way of understanding my gifts and talents and how to share them with the world. My most authentic story had unfolded from within.
Now, I help clients discover their archetypal maps and the unique threads of their story and purpose. I design and lead events and workshops that pair my global leadership experience with practical applications from neuroscience, archetypal psychology, as well as dreams and imagination to create living symbols for transformation. My passions are rooted in nature, creativity and re-wilding of the soul.
I live in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Having the mountains in my backyard is a blessing that keeps me grounded in my connection to nature. I share this beautiful life with my teenage son and my fearless pup who are my teachers and constant companions in many of life’s adventures.
